Prior to co-founding COMS and leading its marketing and sales initiatives, Mr. Riemenschneider served as Regional Director of Operations for Foundation Health Services where he led the turnaround of three skilled nursing facilities (180 beds) in Minnesota. He was instrumental in leading a 173 bed campus of skilled nursing, rehabilitation and assisted living services in Cleveland out of a declining trend to become a financially sound organization, resulting in a 60% increase in EBITDA.
Mr. Riemenschneider is a founding partner and former President of STA Healthcare Services. STA’s offerings include consulting and management services, and education and clinical research to organizations that provide care to the elderly. He has consulted with over 50 nursing facilities, has held several interim management engagements, and has led the development of STA’s flagship product, COMS.
He served as Assistant Administrator, Genesee Memorial Hospital, Batavia, New York, and Assistant Administrator, Millard Fillmore Health System in Buffalo, New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Baldwin Wallace College, his Masters in Business Administration with a Health Care Emphasis from Cleveland State University, and his Nursing Home Administrators License in September of 2000.
